Ooooh, daddy!

I think James Nesbitt gives a sterling performance as both Jekyll (Tom Jackamn) and Hyde in Steven Moffat's Jekyll. The transformation between personalities is astounding. The six episode-long miniseries is not a simple contemporary adaptation of Robert Louis Stephenson's famous novel, but a sequel or follow-on of sorts. The series answers much-pondered questions like what Hyde actually is and the secret of the Dr Jekyll's magic potion. Great writing by Moffat, great performance by Nesbitt (although sadly, most of the other performances aren't much to write home about. Gina Bellman, in particular, is atrocious).
