One of my lecturers, Geoffrey Hyland, describes the epitome of bad acting as DWF a.k.a 'Distressed White Female.' Think Brooke Logan in The Bold & The Beautiful. The portrayals of emotion are stereotypical, they mean nothing and they're painful to watch (and generally the actresses are damaging their vocal chords). Theses pictures are super DWF, but I still love them.
