I COME WANDERING IN...

So this is my first official blog EVER! *author thumps herself on the back in acknowledgement of this achievement*
Thought I'd start by explaining why I've named my blog as I have. The title comes from the second line of a famous poem from J.R.R Tolkien's iconic The Lord of the Rings, which goes as follows:

All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.

I identify a lot with that line, in particular. *author considers deleting previous sentence as a result of it's inherent cheeziness, sighs, then continues because the shoe fits* I see it as a sort of mantra. I like to think that like Aragorn, though I seem to be aimlessly wandering but that it's a neccessary part of this journey called life, if not the point.

Hopefully as I wander, I learn something.
